Dr Trotter was fantastic. He really made my 8 year old son feel at ease and not worry about the operation. He was very informative and gave us a good insight into the operation, it’s risks and the required aftercare. We loved that he told us the operation would last over an hour, but in reality it was only 30 mins. We were not clock watching and was pleasantly surprised when we were told our son was in recovery. What a kind doctor. He explained everything to my daughter (10yrs old) in age appropriate language and then to my husband and I. He answered all our concerns with patience, professionalism and above all kindness. He came back to the ward following the operation to check on our daughter and to explain how the operation went. He made our daughter feel at ease as she was very nervous. We really can’t thank him enough.

Mr Matthew Trotter treated me for nasal polyps. He managed to see me relatively quickly and gave me reassurance, clarity and the greatest understanding of any of the consultants I had seen regarding this matter. He is pragmatic, considerate, clear and it is a real pleasure to be treated by him. I am so pleased I found him, and I have had a considerable improvement to my overall quality of life, following my surgery.
